FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Littleton, CO – December 10, 2007 – Charter Software Inc., a leading provider of business management software for agricultural and outdoor power equipment dealers, announces the release of its interface between DealerWin™, its Windows-based business management software, and CNH Capital America, LLC (“CNH Capital”), the financial services business of CNH Global NV. The CNH Credit Card Interface eliminates the need for equipment dealers to go outside of their business system or use a credit card terminal to process sales using CNH Capital-issued cards. Dealers can accept any CNH Capital-issued card as a form of payment and receive approval through CNH Capital from within the DealerWinTM invoicing screens. The card information can be retrieved automatically from the customer record, swiped, or entered manually. The transaction is then processed automatically, and delivers immediate notification of approval/denial before the invoice is printed and accepted. Should the payment be denied, the payment method can be changed and reprocessed. Charter Software also assists dealers who do not currently accept CNH Capital-issued cards by working with CNH Capital to convert customers from open account or other card options to CNH Capital-issued credit accounts. Charter Software President Anne Salemo says, “Our coordination with CNH Capital to transition dealers from open receivables to CNH Capital-issued cards allows the dealers to improve the cash flow of their business as well as provide their customers with flexible payment alternatives.”
