At Southern Tractor and Outdoors, customer satisfaction isn’t just a goal—it’s the cornerstone of their business philosophy. This steadfast commitment has made them a trusted partner to the diverse communities across Georgia.
Whether it’s purchasing equipment for a large-scale farming operation or renting a tool for a weekend home improvement project, Southern Tractor is dedicated to meeting the needs of its clients with a comprehensive range of high-quality implements.
Recently, we had the pleasure of chatting with Melissa Cason, the company’s controller. She shared insights into Southern Tractor’s journey since its inception in 2001, highlighting significant milestones such as the acquisition of another location in 2016 and the opening of a brand-new facility in 2020.
What improvements have you seen at the dealership because of ASPEN?
Melissa: “I love Aspen. It’s pretty user-friendly and you can do a lot with it. I really like that you can accomplish the same thing or get to where you need to go from multiple areas and it does seem to work very well for sales, parts, and service.”
What’s your favorite feature in ASPEN?
Melissa: “I like that it’s customizable depending on what you need to do. You can customize your screens, you can set your layouts, and I found that to be really helpful.”
What advice do you have for somebody in the market for a dealership management software?
Melissa: “I would absolutely recommend Charter. We specifically use ASPEN, and I like that the payments are integrated with it; the reconciliations are pretty smooth. I like that you have a lot of leeway in how you can utilize the software.”
